For Seniors Card and Carers Card holders, selling real estate is now a 30% cheaper proposition thanks to an initiative by local agent, Heather Murray (pictured, left).
As an example of what this means in real terms is; if a home sells for $300,000, card holders will pay $2324.00 less than they would if they were paying standard REIQ commission rates.
The idea came about when Heather decided there wasn’t enough being done to help those who’ve ‘done their bit for decades’ in our community.
“Seniors and carers continue to contribute greatly to our community in all kinds of ways, and the idea of charging full commission seemed outrageous to me personally – so I approached Jan Jones (Principal of Jan Jones Real Estate) with the concept and her immediate response what enthusiastic and agreed to support it wholeheartedly”.
Heather guarantees that those eligible for the 30% discount will receive the same level of service and exceptional professionalism as all full paying clients. “Certainly there will be no discounting on service”, Heather explained.
“Under this initiative, seniors and carers still qualify for our free advertising package together with all the benefits sellers have become used to in dealing with our boutique agency”.
